Maths
This week I was sick so I stayed home and couldn't go to the math workshop I did the work today though. We had to go on a website and make as many shapes as we could out of 4 3d blocks.
Papua New Guinea
This week for reading we had to read about Papua New Guinea and how climate change is effecting it. We made a google doc and made a table seeing the similarities between life in New Zealand and life in Papua New Guinea. Here is the table I made:
If you have any questions ask me in the comments and I'll try my best to reply

How to wash your hands
This week for writing we had to either write instructions for how to wash your hands (due to the Coronavirus) or how to wash your hands, I chose: how to wash your hands. These were the instructions I made:
If you have any questions about this then ask in the comments and I'll try my best to reply to them

Treaty of Waitangi
We had to do work on the Treaty of Waitangi. We had to make a D.L.O (digital learning object) about how the English and Maori had a war and then signed a treaty. Here is mine:
I made this on google drawing using different shapes and images.
The boat represents the English landing in New Zealand, the fighting slide represents how the English had guns and were winning the war, the treaty represents how the Maori recognised that they were losing the war and decided to make a treaty, the last slide represents how the war ended and the English stopped using the guns to take land and started trading for land and animals instead.

first blog of 2020
Hello people. It is now 2020 and it's been really bad. Australia is still on fire, the Coronavirus is killing a bunch of people, Kobe Bryant died, Donald Trump bombed an Iranian commander and now our school day has been made longer for no apparent reason and now we have to do 4 blogs a week.
And I'm gonna do great!!!
In this blog we have to write some things we hope for in this year, so here are mine.
I hope that Australia stops burning because over a billion animals died and that's pretty bad. I also hope that people find a cure for the Coronavirus.
We also have to write about what we are looking forward to in the year.
I guess I'm looking forward to sleeping in and the holidays because I like to just chill a bunch.
We have to write about what we did in the holiday's too.
I went on a holiday in the north island and went on the world's highest inflatable slide among other things, so that was pretty cool.
Anyway that's the end of my blog. thank's for reading and goodbye.

My Pepeha
My blog this week is about my pepeha.
We have to do this for the summer learning journey. If you don't know what that is it is an activity where you write 3 or more blogs a week in the christmas holidays. It is supposed to make you smarter.
So for this week I made my pepeha, here it is:

Sport rotations
For the past few weeks we have had sports people come in and teach us sports every Thursday,
Some of the sports were: Cricket, Softball, Lawn bowls and Korfball.
My favourite sport was Korfball but I also liked doing Cricket, I liked Korfball because it was like a mix of basketball and netball.
We did Korfball twice and cricket twice but the other ones we only did once.
Korfball is a game where you can't dribble or run with the ball, you cant touch the opponents but you can stand as close as you want, you aim to throw the ball in the hoop and you get a point. you have a defender side of the court and an attacker side of the court, every two goals you swap sides and play defence or attack.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed reading this blog.
Have you ever played Korfball?
