Speech

Hi and welcome back, sorry for the late post but today I will share the beginning of my speech that I worked very hard on 😎.
It is based around racism. I tried to get as much information as possible but I was sick for a week when everyone else was working on their speeches so... anyway here it is.

Discrimination, does it sound familiar? maybe when you hear it you think of racism and sexism but there are so many other types that people completely underestimate the size of. Other types of discrimination include: ableism, religious discrimination and ageism. Racism and sexsm i’m sure you’re all familiear with so I’ll just tell you quickly. Racism is judging someone on something they can’t change, that thing being their skin color or race. Sexism is similar, it’s doing the same thing but judging them on their gender instead of race. Ableism is not as well known as racism or sexism but still a problem, it’s judging someone or just taking that second look at someone and thinking differently of them for a disability, about 70 percent of disabled people say that they have had people discriminate against them for their disability. The truth is that they don’t want you to treat them differently.
Religious discrimination is when you think differently of someone because of religion like saying that you won’t talk to a muslim or buddha or hindu this happens all around and needs to be stopped.
Ageism. Ageism is saying that someone can’t do this or do that because they are to old or to young. This can happen in sport if someone says that someone is too old to play rugby or tennis or go mountain biking.
Anyway I’ll be focusing on racism.

So uhhhh... wadduya think?
