War for planet earth

Hi this is another story I've been working on with my friends.
We were making a story with a plan working together and using descriptive writing.

Explosions shook our eardrums as the three of us charged toward the alien fleet.
It was just Jeff Matthias and me, Arie.
We clambered through one of the vents and took out the gunners.
They were slimy and green and they had tentacles for legs, they were kind of like an octopus but a lot uglier, they looked something like jason voorhees or a messed up version of freddy kruger. Something like this= .
We sprinted down the long corridors and dove behind boxes whenever we saw an alien.

And then one alien saw us so we had to shoot them in the face and their green, gooey, slime blood splatted in our faces (*-*).

We were heading for the captain's quarters and finally, after 23 years of war, kill the captain.

We burst through the door and instantly started shooting our auto rifles.
We took down most of the gourds and just when I thought we were going to win the captain shot his laser rifle and decapitated Jeff completely in one swipe, but we didn’t care so we laughed “he sucked anyway” I cackled.
Then the captain gurgled you're next.

So we ran a away, and just then one of the aliens shot Matthias in the leg I shot a rope holding a axe. The rope swung down and sliced the captain's head in half.
And all the aliens came sprinting like Usain Bolt. And they started shooting.
We Hid Grenades under the floor and shook the base and we fell to the ground.

Then Matthias leg fell off. Slowly crisp of ashes started fading away from a short distance of time from leg to leg.  “MATTHIAS!!!” and then we died happily ever after daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

  1. I really like your choice of descriptive words to make it interesting to read, and to create energy in your writing. What are your next steps to improve it Arie?
