So it is now the beginning of a new term and we have been told the new driving question which was: What will the future ask of us?. We have talked about HEAPS!! of stuff. We talked about global warming, drug addictions, poverty, depression, robots taking jobs and stuff like that.
We watched videos about which jobs will be taken over by robots. Also we talked about what humans will need to do when the robots do jobs. There where things like: an artist, a robot can't be a artist because they don't have imaginations and teachers, I think they should be taken over but everyone else says that they need to form an emotional bond with us.
We also thought about the differences between robots and humans.
Some of the things we thought about where: we have emotions and robots don't, (we can feel bad for other people and try to help others when they are sad.
anyway that is all I could remember so i guess this is the end of the blog.
BYE.

Hi Arie,
ReplyDeleteIt sure would be interesting to see a robot as a teacher, maybe one day in the future it will happen. There are currently so many issues going on within society, and you have only just touched on a couple. Our PBL this term has the ability to cover so many topics and areas, and I am looking forward to seeing which avenue you take your project.
